GamingGoldmine (GM Commerce Group SRL) wants gaminggoldmine.com to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes how accessible the site is, what we have done and how to report a problem.
Reference standard
Our reference is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the basis of the European standard EN 301 549 referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882). Where possible we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 criteria.
Conformance status
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA: the pages we manage directly meet the requirements we have tested, while some parts provided by third parties are outside our control (see "Known limitations").
What we have done
On 28 October 2026 we reviewed the home page, collections, product pages, cart, search, trade-in and contact pages, in Italian, English and Spanish, on desktop and mobile, with automated tools and manual checks. In particular:
- the main functions of the site work with a keyboard alone, with focus always visible and a "Skip to content" link;
- headings in a logical order, one main heading per page and text alternatives for images;
- sufficient colour contrast for text and interface elements;
- form fields with labels that screen readers can read;
- important updates, such as adding a product to the cart, are announced to screen readers;
- pages stay usable at 200% zoom and on screens 320 pixels wide, without horizontal scrolling;
- reduced animation when the device asks for it ("reduce motion" setting);
- the language of every page is declared correctly.
Known limitations
- Payment and checkout: these are run by Shopify and by the payment providers. We cannot change their code.
- Customer account: sign-in and account pages are Shopify services.
- Third-party content: widgets, videos or external tools embedded in the site may not be fully accessible.
- Product photos and descriptions: some older product pages may have generic text alternatives. We are improving them.
Compatibility
The site is designed for recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge and for the most common assistive technologies, such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack.
