Every piece we sell is original. We check it before it goes online, not after a complaint. And if something is off, we pay.
How we check
- Consoles: serial number, motherboard revision, weight, feel of buttons and sticks. A console rebuilt with non-original parts gives itself away.
- Cartridges and discs: label, print quality, codes on the media and, for cartridges, the PCB compared against the original. That's where reproductions get caught.
- Sealed items: seal type, wrap and box codes, compared with the official releases for that region.
- Controllers: originals only. No clones, no "compatible" pads sold as official.
If something is off
If you think your piece isn't original, write to us within 30 days of delivery with photos. If we got it wrong:
- full refund of the price you paid;
- return shipping on us;
- €10 credit on your next order.
No long forms, no arguing over "we think it's fine".
How to report it
Email info@gaminggoldmine.com or WhatsApp +39 371 533 79 64. Send us:
- your order number;
- clear photos of the piece (front, back, label, and if you can the inside of the cartridge or the serial number);
- what makes you think it isn't original.
We reply with the next steps and the return label.
Why we do it
Retro is full of well-made reproductions: Pokémon cartridges, Super Nintendo games, controllers that look real until you open them. You shouldn't have to become a PCB expert to spend your money well. We do the checking, piece by piece, and we sign off on it: if we get it wrong, we pay.
