DESCRIPTION
Il Banchetto di Nozze (The Wedding Banquet, 1993) on VHS, Italian edition by Lucky Red (I Grandi Film di Panorama series). Ang Lee's comedy-drama. Tape in excellent condition, complete with original case.
The story: Wai-Tung, a young Taiwanese man living in New York with his partner Simon, stages a sham marriage with a female friend to please his traditionalist parents, who know nothing of his homosexuality. The family's arrival and a lavish wedding banquet turn the charade into a touching, witty comedy of errors.
